We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Contracts & Procurement (Power Sector) to join our team in Warora. The successful candidate will have a strong background in procurement and contracts, with a proven track record of managing vendors and contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Manage procurement and contracts for the organization, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement effective vendor management strategies to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Negotiate and administer contracts with vendors, ensuring fair and competitive pricing.
  • Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and negotiate contracts with them.

Requirements

  • 6-10 years of experience in procurement and contracts, preferably in the energy or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement and contracts principles, including vendor management and contract administration.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions, with a focus on cost savings and process improvement.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
