Engineer - Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements to ensure the optimal performance of our fleet.
• Conduct vehicle diagnostics to identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues, and perform repairs as needed.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of our vehicles.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve issues that may impact fleet performance.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives and goals.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory management, and vehicle history.
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in maintenance engineering to ensure that our fleet is always running at optimal levels.

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in a heavy vehicle or fleet maintenance environment.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical maintenance, including heavy vehicle maintenance, fire vehicle maintenance, and fleet maintenance.
• Experience with predictive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and preventive maintenance techniques.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Strong diagnostic skills, with the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
