US Residential Mortgage Underwriter
We are seeking an experienced US Residential Mortgage Underwriter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mortgage underwriting, residential real estate, and income & asset analysis. This role will involve reviewing loan applications, analyzing income and assets, and making informed decisions to approve or deny mortgage applications.

- Review and analyze loan applications to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies
- Conduct income and asset analysis to determine creditworthiness of borrowers
- Calculate income and verify employment and income information
- Make informed decisions to approve or deny mortgage applications
- Collaborate with loan officers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and provide guidance
- Stay up-to-date with changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards
Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience in mortgage underwriting or a related field
- Strong knowledge of residential mortgage underwriting and residential real estate
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in income and asset analysis, including income calculation
