Job description
Job Title – Lead Delivery- Surgery Speciality (SDS)
Location - Chennai
Roles and responsibilities:
Minimum 6+ years of surgical
coding experience.
AAPC/AHIMA AAPC/AHIMA
- Certification is mandatory
candidate will ensure coding
compliance, collaborate with clinical teams to clarify documentation, and
support revenue integrity and documentation improvement.
Review operative reports and
clinical documentation to abstract diagnoses and procedures.
Query surgeons/clinicians for
clarification when documentation is incomplete.
Support audits, coding
quality initiatives, and denials review.
Provide feedback to improve
surgical documentation.
Strong knowledge of anatomy,
surgical terminology & coding guidelines
Proficiency with EHRs and
coding tools
Excellent attention to detail
and analytical skills
Ability to communicate with
clinical and billing teams
