Job description
Job Title – Accounts Payable – Assistant
Manager
Location - Chennai
Job Responsibilities
8 + Years of experience in Accounts
Payable, Invoices & Payments reviews, process harmonization,
standardization and driving transformations
Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable
operations including invoice processing (PO & Non-PO), vendor master,
payments, and employee reimbursements.
Ensure timely, accurate invoice
posting in line with SLAs and TATs; handle complex and escalated AP issues.
Perform vendor statement reconciliations
and resolve discrepancies to maintain high vendor satisfaction.
Ensure compliance with statutory
requirements such as GST, TDS, and withholding tax.
Support month-end and year-end close
activities, including accruals and provisions.
Manage, mentor, and develop AP team
members; allocate work and monitor productivity and quality.
Conduct performance reviews, coaching
sessions, and ensure adherence to SOPs and process documentation.
Act as the primary point of contact
for internal stakeholders and vendors; manage queries and escalations
effectively.
Ensure compliance with internal
controls, SOX requirements, and support internal/external audits.
Drive process improvements, automation
initiatives, and participate in transitions or process migrations to improve
efficiency and reduce costs.
Should be flexible in working shifts.
